Get to the root of the problem!
A Swedish-made hand tool that pulls scrub, saplings and suckers out root and all — no machine, no fuel, no regrowth!
Cut a sapling and you buy yourself a return visit.
Most broadleaf scrub regenerates straight from the stump or sends up suckers, and every cycle the root plate gets tougher. The Bystrom Root Puller breaks the cycle by taking out what causes it: the root.
It’s a straightforward, entirely manual tool. Set the jaws around the stem, stamp down so they grip well below ground level, then draw the handle back — the jaws clamp and the leverage lifts the root clean out of the soil. No fuel, no battery, no hydraulics, and nothing to service.
At 110 cm and just under 6 kg, it’s carried in one hand and used by one person, which makes it practical for the places machinery struggles: ditch banks, hedge bottoms, wet ground, fenced compartments and sites where noise or emissions are a problem. Because it’s a mechanical removal, there’s no herbicide involved — useful for teams cutting chemical use or working close to watercourses.
