 | Efficient Power Transmission, Bevel gears built to
a unique Adesign run very quietly in well lubricated housings. Power
transmission is by V Belts. These are tensioned automatically, which
significantly reduces wear & shock load resulting in lower
maintenance. An integral over-run clutch prevents damage to the
transmission from sudden speed changes and stopping. |
| Robust Construction |
| The main frame support is reinforced at its
suspension point to absorb the extra stress that occurs in this area
during operation. |
| The drums are balanced during production to ensure
vibration free running with special additional packing for the drums
and covers to prevent build-up of grass in the drums during
operation. |
| The machine is protected by an efficient break-away
system that minimises the risk of damage if the mower hits an unseen
obstacle. After the breakaway system functions it can be re-set from
the tractor seat by simply reversing, which snaps the mower back
into its working position. |
| Simple Adjustment & Maintenance |
| The mowers are designed to follow ground contours
precisely, eliminating the effects of small undulations. Cutting
height is easily adjusted to one of four standard heights using
removable de-limiting rings.
A hydraulic lifting system is standard on ZTR 215 to set transport
and working positions. This is available as an option on other
models. |
| Access to all parts of the machine is easy, making
the replacement of knives, discs & other wearing parts quick
& simple. |
